DADOMU.BY – There shouldn’t be 6000 orphans in the country with one million churched Christians
DADOMU.BY is an Internet portal with a database of children who need a family. The site started a year ago, on October,14th 2013. Now it provides information about 4,232 Belarussian children who can be adopted or placed in ward.This project is the first of his kind in our country. Everything began with a forum movement which collected signatures for creation of an informational resource. As a result a portal emerged, with backgrounds and photos of children who live in asylums and orphanages and who hope for a help. For 15 months of its existence about 600 children have found a new family.
The site provides information about the adoption procedure, about necessary documentation, a database of orphanages is given.
The project has its own printed matter that will be helpful for those who has already adopted a child or who has only began to think about. I wish every Belarusian church subscribed for that paper – there shouldn’t be 6000 orphans in the country with one million churched Christians.
Everybody can help them somehow: with prayer, money, by volunteership or adoption. Visit that site and maybe somebody’s way home will be easier and shorter.
