Sacred Music Concerts in Minsk and Hrodna
A big concert “Belarusian and Russian Talents”, organized by Yuri Rozum International Charity Fund, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and Belarusian State Philarmony will be held on January,31st in Minsk.According to sobor.by, the fellow of Yuri Rozum ICF, laureate of several international competitions Anna Yakovleva (soprano), the Special Presidential Fund for Support of Gifted Youth fellows, laureats of several international competitions Filipp Zmushko (violin) and Vyacheslav Khandonsky (piano) will perform. Anastasia Lebedeva, the poet, will also participate in the concert. The President of Internetional Charity Fund, People’s Artist of Russia Yuri Rozum (piano) will be the special guest.
The works of P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rakhmaninov, A. Skryabin will be performed.
“Cantate Domino” choir, based in Hrodna, will hold a pastorale and carol concert on January, 18th at rectoral Temple of Our Lady Day in Hrodna. The concert begins after Holy Mass at 12.00 that will be accompanied by the choir as well.
According to grodnensis.by, the “Cantate Domino” choir consists of 43 singers and is conducted by Genrich Davidovich. The choir performs songs for all liturgical periods in Polish, Latin and Belarusian languages.
