The Evangelical Baptist Christian Union in Belarus  members congratulated believers, their families and all Christ churches with the reat and joyful day of Easter.

“We thank the Lord Who by His resurrection conquered death and all its manifestations: fear and guilt, emptiness and meaninglessness of life, anxiety and uneasiness, anger and cruelty, dejection and despair. We wish the force of revival to act in youe life, we wish you to “know the power of his resurrection” (Phlp. 3:10), to live a renewed life “just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father” (Rom. 6:4), say the words of congratulation.

Its authors remembered that this year is pronounced the Spiritual Renewal Year in the EBC Unions Euro-Asian Federation and expressed a wish for the renewal being in the life of every person and in the life of the Church, for the Christians to be ready for changes, reports baptist.by.

They asked to pray and ask the Lord to make every heart pure and renewed a right spirit, for this renewal would change our attitude towards prayer, the Word of God, to Bible discussions, to the meetings.

It was also wished that this year would be the year of a renewal pending the Second Coming of Christ, the renewal in service, especially in gospelling, that believers would not only stand firm in truth but with their feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (Eph. 6:14-15).

An important part of CBE Unions Council members was the call for praying for brethren and sisters in Christ whose faith weakened. For a new life was given by the Lord through the power of resurrection to those who does not have it, for sinners being reborn “into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Pet. 1:3). Also a call was made for believers to ask hopefully and faithfully for the salvation of their realtives, friends, acquaintances, for their meeting with Jesus, for their confused hearts being filled with peace that is brought by resurrected Christ.
